"La Flor #99", is part of my "La Flor 250 Series".  With gold tones and rustic style, this flower represents the stage which I, and many women experience: darkness that we find ourselves in and that comes from unexpected life's changes and the emergence of light and beauty that surfaces once we embrace it and own it. To me each flower I paint represents every woman, each beautiful and unique in her own way.
